Keep those fingers out of the outlets!! A Giveaway for safety!

Do you have little fingers in your house that seem to find their way into everything?  I do.  I am always amazed at how many things kids are attracted to that they shouldn't touch. Electrical outlets are one of those things.

It's not one of those 'let them learn' situations when it comes to outlets.  One time can hurt or kill.  It's not something I'm willing to chance.  I've started using the CoverPlug.  It's a super simple solution to such a serious problem.

CoverPlug needs no tools. Just your hands.  The two prongs on the CoverPlug align with the ground openings in the outlet.  Just push it in and you're done.  It fits snug.  Mine needed a little coaxing to get it out, so I felt very secure about my 2 and 3 year old kids not being able to easily get it out.    It also just blends in, so out of sight, out of mind.  They are also able to be painted to allow you to easily blend them into the wall for even more camouflage for kids eyes.

It's really a simple and great safety precaution anyone with kids in the house should take.  It's great for parents, grandparents, and extended family.

If you want to go ahead and purchase your own CoverPlug boxes (it's a 2 pack!), check it out on Amazon for a great deal and worth the safety of your kids.

  1. I would definitely use these in the play room. There are outlets close to the floor and this would be a great way to keep everyone safe. Great review!
