Have you ever wondered about using a corset? My corset review.

I have recently come to love corsets.  I have been trying several different brands, and I have discovered that not all corsets are created equal.  Last month a company contacted me and asked if I would be willing to try out their under bust corset.  I was thrilled to get to the chance to try out a new corset!

When my package arrived from Senchanting, I realized one big thing immediately about this corset.  This is a very nice corset. I have tried out many different corsets, and love adding to my collection. Some are very strong and well built. Others you can feel that they are more for looks, and not going to last if you cinch them down.

This corset is one that I would classify as very well built and sturdy. There are 26 steel bones in this corset. Some will say that the bones are steel, but most are plastic. I was able to put a magnet up to each bone, and it stuck to every one of them. I was thrilled about this.

The corset is made of 4 layers, and you can definitely tell that it is thick and strong. It is not the flimsy feeling corset, but it is right there with the high dollar corsets I have purchased. The outer layer is a satin fabric, which adds a lovely shine and dressy feel to it. The clasps are very strong, and are able to hold up to a very tight corset cinching. I ordered the brown color, and it is just amazing. I love the earthy look, and it will go wonderfully with dresses, cosplay costumes, or my usual way of wearing it with my jeans and a nice top.

The laces are like that of a very strong shoe lace. I've had some where they are one continuous loop. These are 2 very long laces (4 ends). One is for cinching the top. The other is to cinch the bottom. These are also very strong, and they have allowed me to get the corset VERY tight and the laces, clasps, and corset material all held perfectly.

I am 5'4" and weight 155 lbs. I have a waist of 34 inches. As I looked at the sizes, I ordered the 2XL for the 32-34 inch waist. Okay, so here's the thing. Don't pay attention to the S, M, L, XL, XXL, etc... and think "I'm not that size in other clothes!!!!". The sizing of the corset is not like in clothing! It hurts me somewhere inside to order a 2XL when I wear a size M in shirts. However, the sizing is different. Go based on your waist size. I would also suggest googling how to correctly measure your waist for a corset, as it is not at your belly button, but higher up at the spot basically just under your rib bones. This is all very important!

This corset is a great quality and is one that should last a very long time. It is built for slimming as well as for a great look. It is one of my top 2 favorite corsets out of all that I own. I am very impressed and very happy with it.
